In the News:

Last week I posted instructions on how to back up your data from Google Reader before the service closes on July 1st. However, if you are already Feedly’s iPhone or Android apps, you’re covered! Sign up to Feedly and sync your Google Reader data before July 1st, and there will be a seamless transition from Google Reader to Feedly. Read more about the service here:

Feedly also has extensions for Firefox, Safari and Chrome.

Fun Stuff:

Print Your Own Posable Figure

I am intruigued by the possibilities of 3d printing, and now you can print your very own doll on Alice Taylor’s Makie site. I couldn’t resist giving it a go! While it seems a little pricey, you have to remember that your doll will be printed just for you, then hand-assembled.

Useful Apps and Resources for Wireframing:

Testing Moqups and Mockflow

I have been on the hunt for a reasonably priced wireframing tool recently, and have signed up for both Moqups and Mockflow. Both look promising, and I will do a review when I have had the chance to thoroughly test both services out.

HTML5 Animation

This week I have also been experimenting with HTML5 animation. If you have not dipped your toe in the water yet, why not try Moonbase for fun?

Blogging:

I am loving the PlainText app for writing blog posts on my phone on the go! I use this app in conjunction with the Typerunner Keyboard from Boxwave. This combination has helped me be far more productive over the last month!
