New Oil Painting – Mr Tuatara

I have started a new oil painting, Mr Tuatara. This is the last painting in my Victorian Animals series and is currently at the underpainting stage. The photo above is a work in progress snapshot. You can see me painting this live on my Twitch channel:

Stream Projects

As I am coming to the end of my Victorian Animals series, I have started preparing for another illustration project. Every Thursday on my Twitch channel after a drawing warmup and sketches, Little Squibble reads chapters from the Wizard of Oz aloud while I draw along.

I am hoping to refine these very rough drawings and create finished illustrations for each chapter. The finished illustrations will eventually be combined into a childrens’ picture book or perhaps a graphic novel.

I have also recently moved everything related to the stream to a different computer. The move has made everything much easier! I am just ironing out a few glitches with the new setup, and then I will be doing my very first charity stream. I will be raising money for Project Puffin, so stay tuned for further information!

Youtube

Over the last month or so I have been very busy, so I did not get out and about as much as I would like! However you can find the two most recent vlogs on my YouTube channel here, and I have recently uploaded a couple of time lapse videos!

I have also recently purchased a small external microphone that plugs into my phone for mobile blogging! Hopefully this will make a difference to my voiceovers and will make it easier for me to narrate videos on the go!

If you would like to keep up with all my art adventures, please check out my Instagram – I post there almost daily! You can also find me on Youtube, Twitter, and Facebook!

I am also updating my Patreon every week with new unique art, behind-the scenes updates, as well as art prints mailed out monthly to subscribers at the highest tier level! There are so many exciting things happening over the next couple of months I can’t wait to get started!
